We are grateful for our family and friends who are traveling to the San Francisco Bay Area to join us for our loving union in marriage.
To help make your visit most enjoyable, we have reserved Friday and Saturday nights, June 22-23, at the Gables Inn, a charming bed and breakfast inn with nine distinctively elegant rooms, many with king beds, fireplaces, spa tubs and skyline bay views. There is enough space for all of our out-of-town guests, plus a few extra rooms for any of our Bay Area friends who would like to combine our festivities with a romantic weekend in Sausalito.
Nestled in a quiet setting amongst tall buckeye trees, the Gables Inn is near the waterfront in the heart of downtown Sausalito, and is conveniently located about one mile from our wedding site, the Campbell Hall and Garden. A stay at the Gables Inn includes a light breakfast buffet, evening wine and cheese, concierge service and on-site parking.
Our group reservation allows us to hold all of the rooms until April 22. After that date, any unbooked rooms will be released to the public. To ensure a room, please call the Gables Inn at 800-966-1554 to reserve a room in your name with a credit card by April 22. Rooms will book fast, so please call as soon as possible for a greater selection. Click here to view rooms online.
If you're flying into the San Francisco airport and do not wish to rent a car, you can take a Marin Airporter express bus, which picks up passengers at SFO every 30 minutes, on the hour and half-hour, beginning at 5 am. One-way fare is $17. You will want to get off at the Spencer Avenue stop. Please contact Evangeline or Arin ahead of time and we may be able to arrange for someone to pick you up and take you to the hotel. Otherwise, the bus stop is a short cab drive from the Gables Inn. (You can ask your shuttle driver for a cab pickup.)
The Gables Inn is a short walk from the Sausalito Ferry, which makes frequent trips across the Bay each day to the San Francisco Ferry Building, a fun, fast and easy boat ride to downtown San Francisco. See schedules.
